Hovde Foundation Visits Casa Del Buen Trato Hovde – Peru

In the fall of 2016, a team of Hovde employees visited the Casa del Buen Trato Hovde to make critical improvements to the refuge and transitional home for girls who have suffered sexual and physical abuse. As the nearby town will pave a road near the Hovde House, shelter staff were concerned about the girls’ safety resulting from the increased accessibility by the girls’ abusers. Red Sushi Moves To West Washington

The owners of RED Sushi, the popular Japanese restaurant on King Street, have announced a move to West Washington Avenue. According to Tanya Zhykharevich, who co-owns RED with chef Jack Yip, the new restaurant will be in the ground floor of the former AT&T building at 316 W. Washington Ave. Over the past two years the building has received a $30 million renovation by Hovde Properties!
