Mr. Brews Taphouse, a combination craft beer bar and restaurant, will be part of the Ovation 309 building that’s currently under construction on West Johnson Street. The 4,000-square-foot location will also serve as a showcase property for those interested in starting franchises elsewhere. It will offer 72 tap beers from around the world and feature fireplaces and backgammon boards.
Company founder Steven Day started the company in Weston under the name Brews Brothers. Now he’s looking to franchise smaller 2,000- to 2,500-square-feet versions and reportedly has attracted interest from investors in Chicago, Nashville, and Fort Myers.
