Village officials, along with representatives of Hovde Properties and Chamber of Commerce members gathered May 9 to break ground on the new 101-unit apartment building on East Main Street between Madison and Water streets
In the planning stages for nearly a year, the $21 million mixed-use development will include approximately 12,100 square feet of commercial retail space. Hovde Properties, in a press release, described the mix of studio, 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments at the Lamphouse as “upscale” with “well-appointed interiors and home ownership quality.”
The interiors will include quartz countertops, “timeless cabinetry,” stainless steel appliances, tiled showers and modern features, according to the release.
