Mick Conrad serves as General Counsel for Hovde Properties, where he provides strategic legal and business counsel on complex real estate transactions, governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management. He works closely with executive leadership to structure transactions, support investment and development initiatives, manage risk, and navigate legal and business issues across the company’s portfolio and affiliated entities.

Mr. Conrad is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Colorado, and Washington and is a licensed Wisconsin real estate broker serving as the supervisory broker for Hovde Properties.
Prior to joining Hovde Properties in 2013, Mr. Conrad held senior legal and executive leadership positions with prominent commercial real estate organizations. His experience includes serving as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of a company managing a diversified real estate portfolio exceeding $1 billion, as well as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of a Wisconsin-based development company. He also served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of a FINRA-regulated securities broker-dealer affiliate.

Mr. Conrad received his law degree from the University of Denver College of Law, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado Denver, and a Commercial Real Estate Certificate from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
