Randy Guenther

COO & CFO

Randall is the President of Hovde Properties with 25 years of diverse real estate experience in operations management, capital planning, development, finance, and strategic planning across a multitude of asset classes throughout the United States.  During his career, Randall has overseen $1.5 billion in financing/capital placements, sales and leasing transactions exceeding $750 million, and numerous ground-up development projects.  Randall has overall responsibility for the operations, development, and fiscal affairs of the company.

Prior to joining Hovde in 2018, Randall was the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial officer for Vanta Commercial Properties based in Madison, WI, which owned/managed approximately 2.8 million square feet of office space as well as various commercial and residential-focused developments.  During his tenure at Vanta Commercial Properties, Randall dramatically increased NOI, oversaw approximately $1 billion in financing and capital transactions, and was responsible for the execution of the exit plan of the Company, which consisted of approximately $450 million in real estate sales to over 12 different buyers including the largest single real estate transaction sale in Wisconsin history.

Prior to joining Vanta in 2006, Randall held various management positions with Zilber Ltd. based in Milwaukee, WI, where he worked nationally in single-family development, commercial asset management, time-share resorts, industrial development, hospitality, and assisted care facilities.

Prior to joining Zilber Ltd. in 1999, Randall worked for Arthur Andersen in Milwaukee, WI, in public accounting as an auditor covering multiple industries, including real estate, banking, manufacturing, consumer products, and oil and gas.

Randall has also participated in the formation and operation of Broker-Dealer operations, non-profit foundations, and private equity investment funds and worked at the State Capitol during college.

Randall earned a B.B.A degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Randall serves on the advisory board of CG Schmidt, is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP), has served on the UW-Madison Graaskamp Board of Advisors, and is involved in several local charities.
